Couldn't put this book down.loved the characters.well worth reading.I read one other of her books and it was the best I'll be getting all others that's she's written.great job

Great book. Loved it. It would make a perfect screenplay for a good chick flick. I could see the movie the whole time I read it and even had the cast figured out.

Sequel Please !

How do you turn a bad breakup with the one you love into a courageous uplifting revelation? Invite some friends and go on an adventure of a lifetime together. Stay open for lots of gorgeous scenery, interesting conversation, fabulous mouth watering food and lots and lots of let's say thirst quenching booze.
My head is still throbbing is why I gave this book 4 stars instead of 5.
On this bike trip Sloane Ranger, our heroine, discovers she is not only still very hot but that she doesn't need validation from her ex husband. He had dumped her for a much younger woman. I love books that lift the female human spirit. Sloane has a lot of class ( when she's not drinking ). She is hurt but not damaged.
The author of Bike Bags, Jill Ireland, actually talks to you in the first person and convinces you that you are right there on the trip of a lifetime with the rest of the gang. This gang is a mixed group of characters of all ages....Take notes ..they are many and each have something unique to share.
No one is left without their own personal spiritual resurrection of sorts. When the adventure is over the plot thickens and our heroine doesn't miss a beat.
I think I will drink to that..hickup. Fascinating fun and lots of hysterical comedy. Someone actually exposes themselves OH MY !!!!
However .......My favorite part of the book was ...well you'll figure it out....
I'm a hopeless romantic but this plot line was really elegantly written for those of us who like to be discreet. It left me very satisfied indeed.
Sequel please !
