Good Read

This is a sweet collection of small-town romantic stories about four different women who meet regularly at breakfast. The stories are refreshing and well crafted. There is no smut contained in any story. Two of the stories are told from the woman’s perspective, and two are told from the man’s perspective. I enjoyed following these modern women as they searched for the true meaning of love and romance in their daily lives. The stories all have a small-town feel to them in addition to being set in a small town. As I said, it is refreshing to read such nice romances. Kind of puts me into a great frame of mind after all the murders, mysteries and misfortune I hear/read about every day. This is a great read for anyone looking for something short and sweet, to take them out of the everyday humdrum. There are four stories in the book, are each self-contained, short and interesting, and I cannot decide which one I like best. Each can be read in a short time, which is good for the busy person. This book will appeal to anyone who enjoys a good romance, and who wishes a book they can pick up, read and put down as necessary. Right now, the book will make a great beach read, a good to travel with, and a great book to read as you have time. I enjoyed reading it and I highly recommend it. I received this from Library Thing to read and review.

Don't Let What Shows On The Outside Fool You!

This book is what I was looking for starting with the first page! The main characters were compiled in 4 great stories - Tessa and Dolan, Chad and Kristen, Jennifer and Michael, Barbara "Barb" and Dirk are four exciting interlinked stories, If you want to read wholesome, fun, romantic, yet leaving something to imagination, this book is better than any other I've found in its genre in a very long time! When you read daily and it's been months since your last good read, you appreciate a 5 star when you read it.
The four main members of The Pancake Club come together for a very enticing and filling book, all in one! Long time friends find their own way to happiness while having the support of each other. You won't want to put this book down or it's hunky and hot characters! They have brains and looks! These stories in this anthology are just the right words, environment, amount of time for the plot, and just the right chemistry! Hopefully there will be more books these four authors put together in the near future!

I enjoyed the many descriptive referrals to the Great Northwest throughout ...

I felt that these four interconnected romantic yet refreshingly not smutty stories were very well written. I enjoyed the many descriptive referrals to the Great Northwest throughout the stories. I found the characters much more believable than in a lot of stories. They are more down to earth, with jobs and problems that the regular person can possibly relate to. All four stories move right along like a fine piece of music, building up with a crescendo to a great ending, leaving the reader wanting another similar story as soon as possible.
