Lots of sections, but good book...

I love Cryptograms and this one is no different, except for one thing....it doesn't have any authors!!.....when I finish a quote it is always nice,
well, most of the time, to see who wrote it....sort of personalizes the puzzle....but, I have to say I like the big print, even if I don't really need it, somehow it is pleasant not to have to struggle as I would have with the smaller print on most books...This book is broken down in six sections, (which I do find rather odd).... three parts for the solutions, and three parts for each of the different puzzles as well.....I had to put tabs on each section as I usually move around from the front to the middle, etc. and don't follow in any special order....it does offer hints, two of them actually in case you really get stumpped....some of the puzzles are fairly long, which is nice as it offers more of a challenge sometimes...the book arrived in a speedy fashion and I thank the sellers for that...nice puzzle book and I look forward to many hours of fun and challenge with it...

Tight Type

I like this book, but would enjoy it much more if the type weren't so tight. (The letters are too close together.) Another drawback for me, though not a complaint, is how engaging the first story was, and how frustrated I began to feel not being able to lay the cryptogram down and just read the story! Probably won't buy this format again because of that, unless they choose a more boring story. =)

Not Your Usual Collection of Random Quotes

Curious Cryptograms is not the usual collection of random quotes. Rather, the 276 puzzles work together to tell three different short stories. You will want to solve the puzzles for both the challenge and to learn what happens next. To get an idea of what I mean, "Look Inside." The editor provides a 12 puzzle sample. I was hooked after puzzle number two!
