I am pleased to say "Omegaland" is a welcome new addition

As an owner of 300 tarot decks (yes, each thoughtfully collected), I am pleased to say "Omegaland" is a welcome new addition. The imagery is unique, accessible, thought provoking. I am a fan of post apocalyptic fantasy and this fills the bill. I also appreciate that famle images are respectfully portrayed as strong- but not 'manlike'- capable people. I love it!

Everyone and everything has gone havoc, find ultimate salvation!
The Omealand card deck contains 78 cards plus 6 additional cards. Now, let me break it down for you and explain why it contains 83 cards. This card deck is a tarot deck and a card game combined into one. The 78 cards are your standard tarot cards (Majors, Suits, and Courts). The 6 bonus cards are instruction pamphlets that explain a little bit how some of the cards will serve in this game. Of course, a more detail explanation on how to work with the card game is explained in back of the Little White Book pages. Please be advice that this tarot deck is a tad gruesome since it illustrates a little bit of gore and violence in some of the cards.
The illustration for the Judgment card takes the interpretation of the card literally. Somewhere in the canyons, a young man wearing a red sweater and brown cargo pants with a rifle hanging from his shoulder has his hand extended, wiling to pick a man up from the ground who lays in a state of exhaustion and hunger. I wonder, will this young man help the old man and take him to salvation, or will he shoot him with his rifle and take him out of his misery?
The illustration for the 10 of Sword takes the meaning and traditional illustration to a fault. Lying on the ground is the body of a young man who has been shot with approximately 10 arrows!!! Hos body lies on the floor on top of his blood. 10 bow and arrows point at his direction in a circle. Who did this? Why did they do this? Was this young man an innocent victim or a on the run convict?
In the Queen of Coins card we have a young and sweet woman who sits on top of a rusted metal tank and rests her foot on top of a yellow box. She is snacking food out of a Campbell soup can. She appears to be somewhere in an alley waiting for someone who may be in need of help. But to me, she’s not as sweet as she seems to be. She has something hanging over her should. In that box where she rest her foot may contain explosives such a TNTs or grenades and whatever is hanging across her should is her weapon of choice.
The backs of the cards are reversible and consist of the image of a wooden fence.
The size of the cards are approximately 3” x 5”.
The cards slim and are beyond sturdy and hold up very well when shuffling. The cards have a matted feel. They are non slippery.
The deck of cards comes in an original US Game tuck box that has slightly the same quality of the cards.
The text in the little white book is written by Joe Boginski and Karen Boginski. Joe Boginski writes the introduction and the card interpertations and Karen Boginski writes the instructions on how to play the game. The LWB starts of with an introduction, the card interpretations, instructions on how to use the cards, and then one card spread. After that, you will find a page that says The Game, Quick Overview, 3-Plater Game, A chard that explains the Leader of the Games Goals, and the Scoring. Then a Free For All, 4-to-6 Player Game, and Major Powers.
The images in the cards are done by Joe Boginski. The medium for the art is non-computer generated and is done by hand. The art appears to have a mix of chalk and color pencil.
This is the first time that I see a tarot deck that can be used as a card game. Many us are familiar that several centuries ago, tarot was actually a card game, but that’s a different story. I like how the images on the cards are real life and actual situations that have or may have happened. The theme and concept of this tarot deck highly reminds me of the theme and concept of the motion picture The Purge and Television program The Walking Dead. Why you may ask? Because the characters are running around with no laws and order. They are killing people and betraying people to survive, therefore, I’m impressed that Joe Boginski didn’t create this tarot deck to be lovely and friendly and that it has gore and violence going on in it and Karen Boginski created this tarot deck to be used as a card game that can be played between family and friends on a raining day. These five stars are not because this is a great Tarot Deck

These five stars are not because this is a great Tarot Deck, but because this is a great fun deck. It's like having endless adventures in the grim future if you use it like an old fashioned Pulp Witer's Story Wheel. If you are serious about The Tarot this is not for you. If you want a deck of cards you can use to prod and prompt your imagination this is the best I have found thus far.
